I am a mom, foodie, travel and life lover with many diverse interests! I love being immersed in nature, but also love the energy of a city. The mountains and beach both have my heart. I love to laugh with people, but also need quality me time to reenergize. I love sports and also the theater (especially musicals). I basically love all foods and enjoy both cooking and baking. Growing up in Vermont, my days were spent among the quaint mountains, mostly ski race training by day and theater rehearsal at night. After attending college in Florida, I ventured to Maryland for work and have now called it home for over 17 years (hard to believe)! I love the natural and cultural diversity this state offers, making it a photographer’s dream.

My love for photography began when exploring the culture, cuisine, and nature of near and far away lands while traveling the world for business. From biking through Bangkok’s lively streets, feasting on schnitzel and gluhwein in Germany, to hiking mysterious desert mountains in Israel, I faithfully carried my camera to even the most exotic locations to capturing the raw beauty and authenticity around each bend. After marrying my love in 2010, four years later we started a new chapter in life welcoming a baby girl and my love of portrait, newborn, and family photography blossomed! As my photography journey grows, I strived to capture the real moments that connect us together and to the beauty around us.

In the fall of 2016, I was having difficulty with my vision and doctors discovered a large brain cyst that was causing peripheral vision loss in both eyes. My biggest fear through all of this was not being able to see my daughter grow. A few weeks later, I had endoscopic transnasal brain surgery with an amazing team of Johns Hopkins doctors and regained my lost vision almost immediately! I'm forever grateful to continue to pursue my passion of capturing life’s beloved and cherished moments for so many! It’s been an honor and a joy and I hope to meet you to capture your unique story!
